The Fractional CO2 laser with SmaXel trade-mark operates by creating 100 micrometer columns of laser beam in the skin align with the ability to adjust the number of laser beam dots.
The SmaXel delivers the laser energy to the target tissue by using a particular double part pulse called SmartPulse.
In the first step, a high-power ablative pulse with short duration leads to micrometer destruction of tissue which delivers the laser energy into the optimum depth of tissue.
In the second step, a low power pulse with long-duration delivers the required thermal energy into the depth of tissue and leads to new vascularization and collagen remodeling by stimulating the fibroblasts of the tissue.

Q10 Q-Switched Nd:Yag laser utilizes up to four wavelengths and high pulse frequency to assist in pigmentation reduction treatments such as tattoo reduction treatments. The 532nm wavelength penetrates only minimally to target more superficial blemishes. The 1064nm wavelength penetrates much further and may be useful in the instance of deep pigmented blemishes such as tattoo ink for assisting in the reduction treatments of deep pigments.
Optional handpieces allow for further targeting of multiple coloured pigments in the skin such as tattoo inks and a fractional handpiece allows for safe and easy skin toning and lifting. The Q10 also boasts hair reduction treatments.
Adjustable spot size without changing the handpiece allows for better targeted application of the laser.
